We have been using Julie’s pet sitting services for at least two years to care for our two cats and two rabbits on the 3-5 weekly trips we take each year. Earlier this year, our international flight was canceled. We had no cell service and had to frantically email Julie in the middle of the night asking her if she could stop by an additional day to ensure our pets had water and food. She didn’t hesitate. The next morning we had an email in our inbox assuring us that she was able to made the changes to her schedule to accommodate stopping by an extra day to care for our pets.
Entrusting someone to care for you pet when they are healthy is hard but we almost canceled our trip when our rabbit received a head injury that led to partial paralysis and almost constant attention through daily visits. We emailed Julie and explained the situation. She quickly responded that she would care for our sick rabbit. She even took the extra effort to come over before our trip and walk through the details of the extra cleaning requirements to keep our rabbit healthy while we were away. She was able to give us peace of mind in both these circumstances and it was priceless!
Artemis Animals is fully insured and bonded. Julie is certified as a professional pet sitter through two nationally recognized organizations – Pet Sitters International and the Association of Professional Pet Sitters. I was most impressed with her certification of in Dog and Cat First Aid.
